Ah....he sighed contently as he reached the top of the bluff looking over the sea. It was a nice cool day out, of bit over cast but that was normal for around here. At least there was no rain in sight. He hated being caught in the rain.
Green County. It seemed to have a spell on him. He couldn't seem to leave and stay away. He always ended coming back for one reason or another. This time it was to escape. He didn't want the memories he had back home. He would rather just forget all the good times he spent with his dad and his cousin. He and Mitch could manage on their own for now because at the moment it hurt to much to be home. But wait. This was home.
If you knew what you were doing and weren't dumb enough to take the lose rocks you would of found a trail at the back of the cliffs, leading to the top. It was kinda hard to find but if you had lived here for a while you probably know about it. As he reached the top, Blake stopped and lifted his hands over his head taking a deep breath and closing his eyes for a moment. Mitch was off somewhere, searching for old friends, Jessicka most likely but Blake didn't think she was still around. But you never know. He looked out over the cliffs and toward the sea, back toward the memories

So Jay was basically the same, he looked the same at least. But his eyes were so tired now, most of his brisk energy had vanished. But the slight streak of basic insanity was still there. Why else would he be sitting on a cliff top with a black filly and his 2-year-old daughter?
He heard a slight noise over to the side and scooped the sleeping Sephy up into his arms, walking towards it. The black filly kept close to his side, occasionally nuzzling the sleeping toddler in his arms. A small smile flashed across Jay's tired features as he recognised the form - his best friend, from all those years ago. He didn't think he'd ever forget the time at Camp 3H. It was one of the best times of his life. He spoke easily, tilting his head slightly.
Hey Stranger

Blake released his hands, letting them fall to his side limply swining slightly. He turned at the sound of the voice. It was so familiar. Jay...hisone good friend. The memories rolled in, but they were good ones. Ones from camp when he had been 16 and so carefree. And there was Sephy. Had it really been that long? She was so big. And then there was the filly. When had he ever seen Jay without a horse by his side? Rarely.
And Makla...wherever she was. He didnt know. Blake smiled at his friend and walked over to him. He would of probably embraced him but the sleeping Sephy was in his arms. He looked down at her with a kind smile then back to Jay. Hey He spoke quietly, not wanting to wake her It's been too long

Jay grinned slightly and nodded in agreement, his dreads falling in his eyes like always. His hair annoyed him constantly, but he would never get it cut. It was just one of those annoyingly illogical things about him.
Looking down at Sephy he sighed slightly. He had loads to tell Blake about, mostly about the last 6 months. Everyone had been gone that long it seemed. Everyone except him and Sephy. And he wanted to talk about it
Makla's been gone for 6 months Blake

He knew it was coming. There always was bad news wasnt there? Jay's words didnt suprise him at all. Makla was known for that. Taking off without a trace, getting into trouble. But not now...she coudlnt. what about Sephy? Makla was her mother. Blake couldnt help but wonder what her reasons were this time. He sighed and ran his fingers through his dark hair axiously. I'm sorry... He had taken off too, just like Makla probably when Jay needed him most. He was no better. Sorry I wasnt there...

Jay shrugged his shoulder slightly, shifting Sephy in his arms so he could dig into his pocket and pulle out a packet of mints. He fed one to the filly, and watched as she crunched it, before putting them back in his pocket.
There was nothing anyone could have done anyway - you know Makla.
It was true enough, she was always a stubborn mule. And he was a crazy brat. But they'd got by. He wasn't even sure why she'd gone. She's gone out, been gone for hours. Jay had taken Sephy down to the stable. When he eventually came back in the morning, he knew Makla had been there. But her stuff ahd gone. And he hadn't seen her since

Blake nodded and lowered his head. He just wanted to know her reasons for leaving. Had she been scared? Scared of being a mother- having that responsibilty? Well it was scary for anyone going through that but Makla couldnt jsut walk away like that. It was childish. There had always been the option of abortion, which Blake was against, but it []iwas[/i] an option. But now, looking at Sephy, he knew it wasnt such a good idea. But of course, she still needed a mother. Yeah, but I should of at least been here for you...help you with Sephy His advice to Makla at the moment? - Suck it up- and get your ass home. We need you
