disappearing act. 6 months had gone by, without a goodbye or anything- she disappeared into the wind like that and changed. jay wouldn't know who she was. a sigh escaped her lips, and she was even paler then before, and her hair was bleach pale blonde. the afternoon sky was falling quickly to nighttime, and the playground abandoned as before.
makla sat her figure on the picnic table and let her converses slip off and then she layed flat against the wooden table. she wondered if jay would be mad, and if sephy still remembered her. would she call him? her cellphone was in her hand and seconds away
[damn boyfriend]

- haha, you love him really -
Jay pushed back his hair from his dark eyes and let out a tired sigh. Sephy was sitting beside him - playing with a twig or something. It had been 6 months now to the day - Jay remembered every day like a stab in the heart. He hadn't changed much, he was no taller, perhaps he had let hs bangs grow a bit longer. But the real difference was his face. He used to be so lively, his eyes calm - or ready so spark when he laughed. Now he just looked tired.
An 18 year old, running a racing stables and looking after a daughter. He could cope, the business was doing fine and he wasn't alone, he had employees and friends. But the fact was he wanted Makla. She had just gone - after the fight, and not come back. And Jay was lying to his mum every time she phoned - saying everything was fine.
He ran a hand through his hair and let himself sink down to lie on his back, reaching over to pick up Sephy and sit her on hsi chest where she promptly curled up and fell asleep. He grinned slightly, stroking her dark hair.

smack yourself makla, and forget what happened and let him back into your life. its that simple. makla was skinnier, less lively but she was managing. the silence was ruined as she flipped her phone open. little did she know his life was right before her, he was sitting under a tree with her daughter. she was a bad mother, that is all self explanitory.
the fingers pressed his number into her phone, and she heard it dial 2 times nd then she hung it up. its more like she wanted to throw the phone away, and get up. well actually makla did get up, her snappable figure stood up from the table and she bent down and slipped her shoes on. her face was facing the tree, but she turned away without a clue and started to walk away.
6 months- why did makla leave? the fight caused her to loose control, and she did just that. the fact of losing so much weight, the fact of turning into a stick with blonde hair. what a disaster

The phone vibrated in his pocket and Jay cursed under his breath, trying not to wake Sephy as he slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out his phone, checking the id. They'd hung up and he didn't know the number. Well, perhaps he would have if he'd looked properly. He put the phone back and tried to sete down again - but Sephy had woken and tarted to cry. Jay sat up and scooped her into his arms, cuddling his little daughter close. As he did so he looked up and saw a figure walking away - one he knew so well.
He didn't speak - he couldn't. She had gone. His dark eyes clouded over as he jsut watched her, still holding Sephy but not hearing her crying anymore. It was like being underwater - he was suddenly cut off.

the mother of a 2 year old, and still feeling the instinct- she heard the crying of a baby, and wait. makla's phone dropped to the ground and she turned around- the sound of breaking, and the sound of crying had stopped. makla was dead in her tracks, and she spoke up. gah stab my back, makla was just hurting him more standing there.
jay?
her voice was soo soft, and shaky that it wasn't normal. why did she come back? so a step forward and then another and maka stopped. what if he walked away, like she did. wanting to hold the both of them again but she couldn't. - a terrible mother and girlfriend

Jay stood slowly, small arms tight around his neck as he held his little angel to him. His eyes were fixed on Makla, with her new blonde hair, and it felt like his heart was being pulled right out through his chest. His gaze was deadened and he just stood until small lyrics sounded in his ears.
Dada?
He looked down at his daughter and kissed her cheek, before looking back up at Makla.
You left
There was no emotion in his voice, no anger no hurt. Just nothing

tears filled makla's eyes, this time no make up was on her features so it was clear liquid slidding down her face. dadda? makla wanted to hear sephy say "momma" but not now, she was horrible. the no emotion wasn't very noticable, until makla stepped alittle closer to her daughter and jay. there wasn't much on her face, no smile.
and I know that jay. I'm sorry.
makla just lowered her head alittle. this wasn't th best spot to be "battling" as Makla's held was reaching out and she was arms length from Jay and Sephy. She wanted to feel her daughters hand again

Jay just shook his hea,d his gaze slipping away From Makla. But he saw her hand reaching out and knew that Sehphy was her daughter. No matter how long she had been gone - she had come back. He loosened Sephy's arms from around his neck and passed her over to Makla, keeping a careful eye on his daughter.
Sephy was so precious to him - and by now she was totally comfortable with horses, even Jay's highly-strung racehorses. Though he always carried her when he they went anywhere near them. But she loved the foals - she'd sleep, curled up in the straw with any of them. Especially Merla, the little black filly

my little girl, you're so big
makla's eyes didn't hold up the flood, and a few tears rolled down her cheeks as she took ahold of her little girl. hands held her tightly and let her legs wrap around her mothers side. a small kiss on the forehead and she hugged her sweety. it felt good to hold her once again, but she knew something wasn't right. her hands picked sephy up from against her figure and held her, handed back to Jay. She wanted to make him happy, but there was nothing she could do. Makla took his heart out and just butchered it. A sigh came from her pale lips and She took a step back. Would her daughter even realize it was her mother, or just a stranger? Makla's stomach turned, and it ached- She was starving herself and her left hand covered her stomach. The clothes she wore were baggy but not much, It looked normal. Besides, People were cold some days and wore jackets.

Jay took Sephy back and looked straight into Maka's face, his eyes ark with pain. But at least she was back now. Jay just coukdn't ask anymore questions anymore, and - when Sephy sneezed- turned away, heading back to his car. Even if he was hurting so bad, he knew he couldn't stop loving Makla.
C'mon, come home
He said to her quietly, as he unlocked the door of his battered old Mustang and settled Sephy into the baby seat at the back, before sliding into the drivers seat and pushing the key into the ignition. He and Makla needed to talk, but there was plenty of time for that

makla saw the pain, because of what she did to him. the two of them have been through so much, and still were able to stand together. - would this test be the final one or would it just help the two of them get closer with sephy. a jealous mother, took a deep breathe and turned her glance from jay's eyes and to the ground, cold and dark. a chill went down her spine, and she listened to jay's voice- and followed his words straight to his car and she slid herself into the car like that. her figure leaned back and she took ahold of the seat belt and snapped it in place. her hands were even small boney figures placed together. snap of a bone, but not literally.
makla was silent as she closed the door after her- and not once during the ride would she look at him. makla's bangs fell into her face, and her right hand brushed them behind her ear and she sighed
